Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park:
You will be picked up by your tour guide who will transfer you to Volcanoes National park in Ruhengeri for gorilla tracking one of the most fascinating activities carried out at the park. Volcanoes national park is one of the few countries that host the few surviving mountain gorillas in the world. On your way to the park you will be amazed by the natural beauty of Rwanda characterized by a thousand hills, have a look on the scenic view and the gorgeous foot hills of the Volcanoes that make up Volcanoes National Park. En rout stopover will be made at the genocide memorial centre at Gisozi, museums, hand craft shops, and other historical sites to experience Rwanda’s culture life style. Day2: gorilla tracking
Have breakfast to give you the energy needed for gorilla tracking. Before 8:00am, report to the park Headquarter to get briefed about gorilla tracking and also to meet your park rangers/ escort. Tracking these giant apes is regarded as the most thrilling and the most memorable moment on earth. The time you take to meet the gorillas is unpredictable because it depends on their movements, so some levels of physical fitness is required. And it’s also recommended to carry with you packed lunch and bottled water, Light rain gear, strong boots, long khaki or jean trouser, non flash cameras among other. Day 3: Golden monkey tracking
After breakfast you will again report to the park headquarters to get briefed by the park rangers about golden monkey tracking, after you will be lead to the forest to track these rare golden monkeys and in Rwanda are found in volcanoes national park. Tracking is unpredictable as it can take between 1-7 hours depending on their movements. So packed lunch and bottled water is necessary. Day 4: Cross the boarder to Uganda- Bwindi
Walk up early in the morning for breakfast and then after head to Kigali for a city tour visit places such as the Kigali genocide memorial site where most of the people where buried after the genocide, visit the national museum, cultural sites, and other interesting places in Kigali city. Have lunch in the city and then after cross the boarder with a beautiful scenic drive to Uganda up to Bwindi Impenetrable forest for a second gorilla tracking. Day 5: Second day gorilla tracking in Bwindi
Have breakfast and then get set for Gorilla tracking but first report to the park headquarters for a short briefing about gorilla tracking. Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have breakfast and then after transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with packed lunch. Day 7: Chimp trekking and launch cruise

Day 9: chimpanzee trekking and bigodiAfter breakfast you will be lead by your guide to the park headquarters to get briefed about the tracking process.
